A must see for any tourist visiting Yercaud, The Bear’s cave is situated in a private coffee estate near the Norton Bungalow, which is on the way to the Servaroyan temple
The cave is believed to be created by the bears and according to the primitive people of this surrounding, the cave also served as a secret hideout and escape route to the mighty ruler Tipu Sultan.
Even though the fallen rocks and boulders offers blockage to the cave exploration, the explorers can choose to remove the rocks and continue their exploration. Around 60 ft of the cave can be explored without any obstacle.
